The Startof the Journey
Imogen’s Luxuries was founded in the autumn of 2012, born from a deeply personal journey towards healing, balance, and wellbeing. Following a challenging period in my life, I turned to the natural world, exploring how the power of aromatherapy could help ease stress and restore a sense of mental clarity.
Aromatherapy blending
What began as a personal search for calm within my Hertfordshire home soon evolved into a passion for blending 100% pure essential oils. I discovered that when thoughtfully combined, these botanical extracts could create more than a beautiful scent, they could transform the atmosphere of a space. Inspired by the tranquillity of luxury spas and restorative retreats, I began hand-pouring candles and crafting reed diffusers that turned everyday living into a quiet ritual of wellbeing.
focus on sustainability
As our range expanded and our customer base grew we knew it was important to focus on sustainability and our footprint on the planet. We decided to launch our new website with shipping using Royal Mail which has the lowest C02 footprint of any uk courier. This changed our focus from a mobile sales company to an e-commerce store.

As we focused more on sustainability and the improvement in available eco-friendly products we started sourcing our Reed Diffuser Refill bottles from the "Preventing Ocean Plastic" initiative. This targets areas with high ocean bound plastic and collects and recycle it before it all reaches the ocean. Our refills now do even more to help sustainability
